The St. Louis Blues acquired forward Yan Stastny from the Boston Bruins on Tuesday in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2007 NHL entry draft.
Stastny, 24, had two assists in 21 games with Boston this season and 12 points (3-9) in 11 games with AHL Providence.
The Quebec City native is the son of former Nordiques great Peter Stastny. He was originally Boston's eighth-round selection, 259th overall, in the 2002 NHL entry draft.
