Peter Forsberg has agreed to lift his no-trade clause with the Philadelphia Flyers for the purpose of going to a playoff contender.Multiple teams have contacted the Flyers about the possibility of obtaining the two-time Stanley Cup champion, including the Maple Leafs, Canadiens and the Rangers.Under normal circumstances, a player of Forsberg's status could easily land the Flyers a first-round pick and a top prospect, but his health status continues to be an issue for some teams. Sources tell Sportsnet a deal could revolve around a conditional future considerations trade built around Forsberg's performance and if or when he re-signs with the Flyers again in the off season

Hockey Guy Notes: Watch for Vancouver, Red Wings, Avs, Montreal all make a strong push for him. I think the best bet is Vancouver where his best friend Markus Naslund plays. Vancouver will have to trade 1st rounder, roster player and young player! I know this would happen I know Foppa would not stay on loseing team. Now it is the waiting game.
