Sens get Koalska from Isles for Malec

The Ottawa Senators have acquired centre Matt Koalska from the New York Islanders for defenceman Tomas Malec in an exchange of minor leaguers.
Koalska will report to the AHL's Binghamton Senators. The 26-year-old American played in three games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers this season before being loaned to the Hershey Bears. He got into three NHL games with the Islanders.
Malec, 24, a Slovakian, had one goal and 12 assists in 33 games with Binghamton this season. He's appeared in 45 NHL games in his career.

Hockey Guy Notes: this nothing big and nothing to go dancing in the street for. The Islanders just got depth for the blueline and should see spot duty on call up and Koalska should see spot duty on call ups
