-Are the rangers going to pursue Scott Gomez?
Hockey Guy Notes: Gomez is going to cash in the summer but i do not think with the rangers, they are already over paying for the services of Matt Cullen. Scott Gomez can be heading to a team with out true number one center say like Calgary,Vancouver, Montreal, etc.
-Ducks trying to get a d-man?
Hockey Guy Notes: The D-man available right now are: Eric Brewer, Nick Boynton, Brian Leetch,Derek Morris.
those are some good d-man! but my self i think the ducks should ride this out!
-The Ducks put a claim in for Petr Nedved
Hockey Guy Notes: That Ottawa, Toronto, Anaheim and Edmonton who all put claims in. This guy was on waivers 4 times and then he came hot commodity, who wants some is a minus 20? and his one goal all year but we will wait and see how does in Edmonton.

Some Rumours for Tsn Backchecking:
- Blues LW Martin Rucinsky would waive his no-trade clause in order to return to the Rangers. The paper also reports that the Blues have gauged the Rangers' interest in impending free agents Keith Tkachuk, Billy Guerin, Eric Brewer and Petr Cajanek. Rucinsky would be able to fit in seamlessly with the Blueshirts' Czech contingent. Tkachuk, for his part, has just four points in the last 12 games, which probably hinders his marketability.

- The Coyotes don't have any deals pending, according to the Arizona Republic, but teams are asking about impending unrestricted free agents Ladislav Nagy, Mike Comrie and Shane Doan. Considering Phoenix's record, they'll have to consider all offers that might give them long-term value.

- Thrashers GM Don Waddell tells the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that, at $3.5-million under the salary cap, the Thrashers could afford to bring in a $5-million player on January 1 or an "$11-million player" at the trade deadline. Waddell also admits that the Thrashers do need a playmaking centre to help Ilya Kovalchuk.

Hockey Guy Notes: The thrashers can be looking @ Petr Cajanek, Jason Allison, Scott Gomez, Craig Conroy & Brendan Morrison. If i was Don Waddell i would look at Petr Cajanek if he plays with the right guys he can put up big points or Jason Allison he might be slow but is a point a game player.

- Stars GM Doug Armstrong indicated, in the Dallas Morning News, that the Stars are looking to add a player through trade; most likely one that will be a free agent at the end of the season.
