-The Oilers are Up to Something?
The Oilers need defensemen, not forwards. Talking to my sources close to the situation, the likely reason the Oilers grabbed Nedved was to see if he could play on one of the top three lines therefore enabling the Oilers to move a current roster player for the d-man they cherish. The Oilers really want Eric Brewer back, but also are considering Brad Stuart, and even Derek Morris. We do know one thing for certain. Kevin Lowe is a very sly GM.

Hockey Guy Notes: As Ekunld said Lowe is a very sly GM, Morris has a high price tag @ $3.9 million. Morris and Brewer would be easy for lowe to get and i really do not see Stuart moveing unless it was a sweet deal
